Let them be a living and holy sacrifice—the kind He will find acceptable. This is truly the way to worship Him. 2Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God’s will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect. Romans, 12:1-2, NLT.

True Worship is more than singing songs and enjoying the presence of the Lord, it is a life lived in complete sacrifice to his will. When we surrender our lives to him giving back in response and recognition of all he has given us, our daily lives become a continual worship. True worship is not only sacrifice but it is giving, give your bodies… our complete lives belong to Him.

The next act of worship is letting God continually transform us into a new person. Don’t be the same person two years from now that you are today. Worship is having the tenderness and humility to keep changing. I know that thoughts will ultimately shape my life and attitudes. The thoughts you are thinking now are the picture of your future. I want the meditations of my heart to be acceptable to Him. My thoughts and meditations reveal the true level of my worship. The only way I can think on God’s level for my life is by faith. So worship Him in faith saying yes in your heart to the dreams and thoughts He gives you.

Lastly, doing the will of God is an act of worship. We must ask the question, are we worshiping God when we are out of His will?Doing His will is not always easy or glamorous, but it is rewarding. It is a life where things are working together for your good, living with His touch and sensing His pleasure. Finally, we are a promise of perfection… a life overflowing with fruitfulness and wholeness.

Be a worshiper. See you in church.

Hey there, one of our core values is staying culturally relevant. Another way to say it is keeping our ability to communicate in terms and ways that our society understands. It does not mean we change or compromise the truth of God’s word, we simply put the message in a language and format that people understand. As I preach to many different cultures with vastly different contexts of moral, social, and world views, it is necessary to adapt the truth I am trying to teach them. Jesus was of course a revolution in cultural relevance. Jesus could have spoken of such heavenly things that none of us would have ever understood. However, He took deep spiritual truths and put them in the daily language of the people. This technique was called parables. I love the scripture that says the common people heard Him gladly [Mk.12:37]. You did not need to be a Dr. of the law to try and understand him. Jesus presented the culture of the kingdom of heaven in terms they could understand. Although He Himself was of a entirely different kingdom than this world system, because He loved people He found ways to talk to them and relate to them.

My son Chris sent me a link on the emergence of the new social media revolution, let me know what you think.

Blessings, Randy

They say that life is divided into 3 phases. First is through age 40. In this time we learn, gain experience and grow. Second are the years 40 through age 60. This is the accumulation phase where we put all that experience to work and hit prime productivity. The last period is the years beyond 60. This represents the giving years where we get to give away everything we have learned and accumulated. Now that I have hit 51, I subscribe to the new data, which says that 40 is the new 20 therefore, fifty has to be the new 30… yes!

I would like to submit that life is lived best when we do not follow the norms and we begin to do all the above at the same time. Never stop growing, learning, producing, and giving everything you can, all at once. I think life is best lived! And it’s best lived on purpose. As I think about the future, I do not want to plan on quitting anything. Retiring sounds boring. Lucie thinks all my discussion of such things is a little overboard, she just shakes her head and tells me I make it too complicated. But I believe if you are living on purpose, then you must know what you are living for, and there is a lot to have a good time doing life. Sure there are tough times, but never let them cause you to quit living life with a zest. Below is my list of my top 100 things I’m goin’ for in life…(which I prefer over the top one hundred things to do before I die list..)

One thing is for sure…it does not take a long list to live our life with purpose. And it’s not about the pressure to find success through an endless litany of accomplishments. It is about about walking with the Lord and finding the fun and joy of an abundant overflowing life that He gives us… and living it to the full. I believe there is an elasticity with God and His promises. Just like a rubber band, the promises have elasticity to them. Many people only choose to believe for the minimum from Him while others want the maximum…the all things are possible to all people level of abundant life. So let His goodness over flow and live abundantly on purpose. Blessings. Let me hear from you.

The words of Jesus still ring through the centuries… “go into all the world and preach the gospel of the kingdom” and ” lift up your eyes and look for the fields are already white unto harvest”. Whoever you are and where ever you are, God wants you to influence your world with the good news of what he has done in your life. Every day you are surrounded with people who need what you have. That’s why they are in your pathway. You may be the answer to someone’s prayer today. I challenge you to begin to really see people and take notice of them, care for them, love them, pray for them and find ways to bless and encourage them. Our church mobalization cry this year is JUST ONE. The great commission is fullfilled when every believer reaches one person in their world. If you have not found your one yet begin to pray and remember love is all the boldness you need. Below are some quotes from people whose hearts burned to reach people. I know your heart burns, too.

“If I had 1,000 lives, I’d give them all for China.” — Hudson Taylor
“Expect great things from God; attempt great things for God.” — William Carey, who is called the father of modern missions
“He is no fool who gives up what he cannot keep to gain that which he cannot lose.” — Jim Elliot, missionary martyr
“We are debtors to every man to give him the gospel in the same measure in which we have received it.” — P.F. Bresee
“In the vast plain to the north I have sometimes seen, in the morning sun, the smoke of a thousand villages where no missionary has ever been.” – Robert Moffat
“If a commission by an earthly king is considered a honor, how can a commission by a Heavenly King be considered a sacrifice?” — David Livingstone
“Sympathy is no substitute for action.” — David Livingstone
“This generation of Christians is responsible for this generation of souls on the earth!” — Keith Green
“If God calls you to be a missionary, don’t stoop to be a king” — Charles Haddon Spurgeon
“You can give without loving. But you cannot love without giving.” — Amy Carmichael, missionary to India
“We must be global Christians with a global vision because our God is a global God.” — John Stott
“The mark of a great church is not its seating capacity, but its sending capacity.” — Mike Stachura
“In no other way can the believer become as fully involved with God’s work, especially the work of world evangelism, as in intercessory prayer.” — Dick Eastman, president of Every Home for Christ
‘There are three stages in the work of God: Impossible; Difficult; Done.”- James Hudson Taylor
“The first joint priority of the churches of any city should be that of making it hard for people to go to hell from that city.”- David Shibley¨
” Aim to plant a church that will plant many other churches.¨- George Patterson
“Our eyes must be on the entire world, but never off the individual.- Unknown

Hi everyone! Have you been as busy as I have been? What a question, right… but everyone seems busy and many not so excited about their world. I am excited, in fact I am just plain old gassed about everything that is happening at HWC.
People are coming to the Lord every week while others are getting breakthroughs. It’s so wonderful how the presence of God is filling us as we worship. I am excited about the 10 city mandate and my trip to China, Hong Kong, and Thailand to meet with leaders in these nations.
I am excited about Nations Shakers children’s church, Takeover youth, and Remnant young adults all blowing up and having an amazing time. How about opening a Window to the World and creating a virtual interactive platform for All Nations School of Ministry, and having global meetings with 10 city churches. And don’t forget Easter next month. We will also be updating our sanctuary with some cool lighting and video changes. See you at church! I am excited.
